Palo Santo for your daily pause.

We cook a lot of strong food, garlic and spices most nights, and the house used to hang onto those smells for days. A friend told me to try palo santo so I light one for a couple of minutes after dinner and carry it through the kitchen and living room. It cuts right through the leftover food smell and leaves something warm and almost sweet in its place. Beats spraying chemical air freshener around the whole house.

These came in a beautiful gift box which made them a great present for my sister. The sticks themselves are genuine palo santo - you can tell by the resin and the way they smell when burned. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that a couple of sticks were a bit hard to keep lit, but overall very pleased.

I have ordered palo santo before that showed up dry and barely had any scent. Not these. The wood is oily and you can smell it through the box before you even light it. Catches a flame easily and holds it. Twenty sticks for the price is a fair deal.

I bought one box last February. I have three left. One box basically lasted me one year! The smoke is beautiful and lasts, in my opinion.

Nice palo santo aroma without feeling too harsh. I wish it lit a little faster for me, but once it got going the scent was really pleasant.

Burn one on the patio in the evenings and the mosquitoes leave us alone. Smells a whole lot nicer than bug candles too.
